A medium pizza which, for the purposes of this article is a 12” pizza, contains around 400 calories for two slices.
Again, this is a pizza with a standard thick crust with no stuffing and pepperoni as a topping. In each slice, there will be around 22g of carbs, 9g of fat, and 8g of protein.
A small pizza of just 9” diameter contains around 240 calories for 2 slices with pepperoni topping.
This is also a standard thick crust pizza, with stuffing, it would contain more calories and a thin crust would contain fewer calories.
In each slice of a small pepperoni pizza, there will be around 13g of carbs, 4g of fat, and 5g of protein.
Differences Between Homemade And Takeout
Despite the fact that there is nothing quite like the taste of a freshly delivered pizza, there are many differences between homemade pizza and takeout that make homemade pizza the better option overall.
Pizza that you make from scratch at home is often significantly lower in calories and fat than pizza that you order as takeout.
You are also more in control over the size, toppings, and amount of cheese that is used.
