The diet also claims to kickstart the basal metabolic rate which can help our body consume more calories without converting it into added weight.

The main drawback was that consistently crunching down on ice cubes, especially if you have just gotten them out of the freezer, can cause a lot of damage to your teeth, specifically the enamel which is the first line of defense against cavities that works to protect our teeth from sugar and acid attacks which can then lead to tooth decay.
If you do choose to try out this diet for yourself, try just placing a few ice cubes in each drink throughout the day, and as you drink try lightly crunching down one each cube to allow the body to use up calories to actually heat up the ice once you’ve eaten it.

Can You Get A Craving For Eating Ice?
This is actually extremely common and is more often than not caused by iron deficiency where a person can start craving the taste of ice and will often consume too much without realizing it.
